SAFETY FIRST

As some might know, this club
lost two wonderful people in the accident (Pictures above) and we will
do everything we possibly can to prevent another. That is the goal of this
portion of the web site and we will be posting much more on safety items as we
progress through this.

Washington State Trooper Johnny Alexander
giving a Safety Presentation to the Gallopin' Gertie Model A Ford Club at the
August Monthly General Membership Meeting.

What a speaker and also what a gentleman.
Trooper Alexander provided numerous items of
highway safety and avoiding road rage incidents as well as examples when to
call 911 on different types of road safety problems.
He was deluged with questions from the
membership and he hung in there like a Real Trooper and gave excellent answers
and explanations of each one. I think all in attendance gained a lot of
information from this presentation. Al Rapp (A member of our club) asked
several questions regarding tours with 15 or 20 cars and we were provided with
excellent advice on this along with other items.
I just can not say enough about this
presentation except that, if anyone has an opportunity to include their law
enforcement agency like the State Patrol, it would definitely be worth the
time and effort.
As we get more information on
SAFETY we will post it as soon as we can. Below you will find links that will
take you to different topic. We want to thank all the people that have
contributed to this topic. Safety should be at the top of all of our
lists.
IF
YOU HAVE INFORMATION OR GUIDANCE ON THIS SUBJECT THAT YOU WOULD SHARE, I WILL BE
MOST HAPPY TO ADD IT TO THIS SITE.
Thank
you, Dick
